My Creative Journey
I started singing in a professional choir at 8 years old. When I was introduced to acting in college, it was such a fulfilling experience that I decided to pursue it as a career.
I made my Off-Broadway debut at 19 years old and recorded at RCA Studios 5 years after that. Love, marriage, children, house, cars – the ‘American Dream’ sidetracked me from ‘Show Biz’ for some 30 years, sometimes working 3 jobs to help support my family and I wouldn’t change a thing. But all through this journey I always wrote songs, poems, essays, and so many personal feelings that it became my ‘therapy’ and a way to channel my emotions. Eventually it led to the publishing of my first book. My creative journey continues!
